Abstract: This presentation provides a brief overview of how to engage key players to help with adoption of CPOE. It also covers the steps needed to collect information to build an intuitive and easy to use system for provider’s order entry. MEDITECH Magic specific details are discussed in relation to optimization of order sets which also leads to a higher adoption among providers. Key reminders and quality assurance items are discussed in depth to ensure that the provider’s confidence level is boosted.
